These printable Flash Cards are perfect for introducing your child to the basics of reading, counting, identifying colours, shapes and vehicles, and simple pattern recognition.
Designed specifically to be printed at home, careful consideration has been given to paper size and colour usage. We have minimised the amount of printer ink required both to save on the cost of ink or toner, while also reducing the drying time for standard weight printer paper.
We have included cutting lines to make it as easy as possible to cut each card evenly, and to the same size, using scissors an X-Acto Knife or paper cutter.

This pack includes a variety of options for learning numbers and counting, so your child can learn each of the numbers from 0 – 9 and how to combine them to make larger numbers. We have included a set of combination cards that show the numbers expressed in each of their forms, written as a number, a word and as a series of dots.
COLOUR STARTER
While our rainbow set includes the seven basic colours that make up the original 7 colours of the rainbow identified by Sir Isaac Newton. They can be remembered with the acronym ROYGBIV or the Mnemonic “Richard of York gave battle in vain”. These colours consist of primary, secondary and tertiary colours. Incidentally the first five in this order are in the order where the wavelengths of light are filtered out of water as the depth increases. (Just a little bit of extra knowledge you can impart.)
